Howdy,
For the firewall bit, you are probably thinking of
Smoothwall http://www.smoothwall.org It is about a 20 meg download and is
a quite nice little firewall/nat solution.
The latest RedHat and Mandrake both have nice CD-burning sulution built
in. If you are looking for a nice GUI base soution, look at K3B. It seems
to do just about everything, once you have it set up. Most any recent
distribution has decent CD burning, but you mentioned RedHat and
Mandrake. And you can always burn from the command line by just running
cdrecord.
