Well, this is supposed to be one of those start and forget services that
does its thing automatically, so that's really not an option.

But, it's a mute point now, I coded my own application that runs on
Linux to do the same thing.  It's a bit ugly, definately could've been
coded better, and possibly could've been done with a shell script (I
don't know enough to do it though), but it works.
