[NTLUG:Discuss] OT: Fry's Linux Computer

A friend of mine here is pricing out a system and with all the specials
and rebates at Frys today, he has found he will be able to build a very
decent system for $125 (after rebates) using the ECS board they have for
$60 and an athlon xp 2000+.  Unfortunately, my cashflow this weekend
will not allow for waiting for rebates so I am probbaly going to buy the
$99 box for tinkering purposes.  I don't think you can beat that price,
really, but some here in the list might consider (if they trust rebates
and have the extra cash to pony) the "more beef" option ;).
