I should also mention, then, that last weekend I also saw a switch at
Fry's, available for the princely sum of $149, which had several
100BaseT ports (5-8 IIRC) and one gigabit ethernet port. I am sorely
tempted to pick up the asus mobo (with gigabit ethernet built in) and
some of the cheap disks they are selling there and build a server ;).
