[NTLUG:Discuss] Distro for touch screen laptop?

I have an Itronix X-C6000 486/8mb with 260mb PCMCIA HDD and touch screen. I was wondering if any of you can recommend a small distro to try on this platform that might support the screen interface. This will be a learning experience for me so it doesn't matter how involved it is. I have been to Distrowatch.com but all I see are distros for current desktop hardware.

Any and all help with this issue is greatly appreciated.
