I have found Jennifer's two articles helpful. The first is a quickie
overview. The second, which I actually
read, is for sys admin setting up cvs. It's much shorter than the cvs
manual, so good as a really quick dive-in.

have some links to articles I used to set up
ssh for remote login; if you need that, let me know, I'll try to dig it
