It sounds like they may be having problems with the node in your area. If
a piece of equipment has rebooted on it's own (or network maintenance for
that matter) that would explain why you have been experiencing problems
but nobody else has. I'm in the North Plano area and was on AT&T cable for
a while but there were too many bugs and the support was incompetent, I've
been much happier since I dumped cable and went to SBC's DSL
