It would work, but in certain apps I would get some graphical
artifacting that would remain.  Like if I moved the cursor in evolution,
then occasionally I would get remnants of the cursor left behind.  More
of an annoyance, than working or not.  The driver from Nvidia took care
of the problem...  I never knew Nvidia had a linux driver...
