P4 and Xeons consume more power AFAIK.  Most of the heat on my
box comes from the PSU (it's a 475W PSU and it's beeing used).
I'm not saying that Athlons run cooler.... it's just pretty
negligible anymore.  The super-hot 12V rail is probably more
of an issue with Athlons.
