[NTLUG:Discuss] logrotate gets stuck

I have a box with Redhat 7.3 Apache and mod_perl. It has been running
fine for about six months.

Last week I noticed that logrotate is not completing. I had several
instances of logrotate running. From the times shown in top, I noticed
that there was one instance per day. I killed them all and they started
the same thing again. Every day logrotate starts and never exits. The
next day another instance is added and so on.

Any ideas what is wrong and how to fix it?
