No one said you had to stop using "certificates". Some people were
having problems because of the way some people's mail uses S/MIME which
is directly set by some clients when using PGP/GPG signatures. Some
people were trying to figure out why they were not seeing some of the
messages sent to the list. Some people were trying to help. Some
people are just too busy to help. Some people don't care.
