just my $0.02.... I got a new nVidia card over the weekend. I installed
the card in my RH9 box and ran the install of the nVidia binary drivers
( NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-4363.run ) and was up and running in a flash.
I don't really like running binary drivers... or their splash scree, but
the drivers loaded fine.

oh sorry, I should have been more specific.  Yes, that works but the
performance was really lousy on games, compared to RH8 & early detonator
drivers (yes - an upgrade on the same hardware) - and I would have stuck
with them except they no longer worked on RH9!
