Tom:
I have a 802.11b wireless network for my home office
and I can't live without it.
The only problem is that my 2.4 Ghz phone interferes with it
at times. If I go to the hub's admin page and change the
channel it is using, it clears up until the phone decides
to rotate to that channel and I have to do it again. This
does not happen very often.
It is amazingly convenient to be able to move around the house
with my laptop.
As far as the different flavors, take a look at this excellent
discussion on the Linksys site that compares them side by side:
http://www.linksys.com/edu/wirelessstandards.asp
If you are intersted, I sell the Linksys equipment and other
brands shipped directly to your door.
Thanks,
Neil
