interesting, Last night i read about an smc access
point that claims a range of slightly over 800 ft.
(835 ft. i think )...but i expect is with the
atmosphere just right, wind blowing the right
direction, etc..., etc..

The lazer and microwave options i am sure are way out
of my price range. 

And it is more of a convenience than a necessity. 

I may just bury a cable.....
