I'd rather not get into a "business as usual" discussion of litigation.
This is a consumer fraud action based on an announced intention to
charge fees for Linux. It results in restraint of trade, interferes with
imminent domain and a host of issues.
Simply, we can stop SCO from moving forward, gag them and keep this in
the courtroom where it belongs. Filing litigation proves intent which
will allow us to bring it to the FTC for investigation. The lobbying
effort involves petitioning the FTC.
No interest in take overs, Richard Stallman, etc. SCO has been going
through the Cathedral unimpeded. If you don't have an interest that's
fine. I'm going forward.
