I recieved the following text from the message you just replied to:

I didn't find anything that said SCO was backing off. I found out the 
McBride is a former litigation attorney not a Linux/UNIX guy. 
Surprising, huh?

The most recent thing he supposedly said was he found a way for Linux 
users not to break the law -- by buying SCO UnixWare binary licenses.

The following article and excerpt mentioned cases where SCO has 
completely backed off. Evidently, they dropped the BS from their web 
site in Germany. I suggest everyone read this article.
