[NTLUG:Discuss] Messed modules_install

Greetings.

I am installing linux on a "new" Dell Latitude C640 (P4) laptop.  The stock kernel is missing a few things, so I decided to recompile the kernal myself.

Either I forgot to set an important option, or SuSE forgot to ship something with their 8.2 sources.

Hints or ideas would be appreciated.
