If you crash on Newsforge, you may want to consider upgrading to Mozilla 
1.4 or 1.5a.

1.1 is old and slow.

If you don't have java, you might consider downing it and then creating 
a symbolic link in the .mozilla directory under plugins to the plugin in 
the jre directory. The plugin name is : libjavaplugin_oji.so

Then you should see everything fine.
