All the more reason to remain calm and wait and see what happens.
We've got a few people on staff that deal with IP/Copyright stuff all
the time - they are just saying wait until the trial.
There are huge penalties for filing lawsuits of this nature when you
know you can't win. While SCO certainly is by no means sure of the
outcome, they *can't* be as stupid as they seem to have been up until now.
My biggest fear is the jury that they seat - I'd imagine there won't be
one techie sitting there. And wait until Gracie Grandma gets a three
week tour of the history of Unix, along with lenghty detours into IP and
copyright delivered in lawyerese. To them, it will seem like if Slide A
looks likes what's in Slide B - you must convict.
