Despite your sarcasm and unfounded accusations, you were right about one
thing. I should have specifically noted that Sobig-F and Blaster both
targeted Windows operating systems.
It was an oversight made on deadline. I've since corrected it.
Thanks for pointing it out.
And I did not `trash' Linux. I simply reported on the study.

Sharon,
Or do you work for Microsoft? Or how much are they paying you under the
table?
Previously, I had truly trusted your website. After this, I cannot take
anything at face value.
You trashed Linux and praised Microsoft. That is fine. I have no
problem with that.
But then you go on to describe the devastation from the Sobig-F and
Blaster worms incliding the 32.8 and 29.7 billion dollar damages. To
the typical Exec reader, it is completely implied and taken for granted
that these were Linux-related whereas these were directed solely at
Microsoft platforms. And absolutely NO mention of that. What a load of
propaganda crap.
Sincerely,
Jerry Brillowski - 2nd Genesis Systems

I agee. This article is definitely slanted.
I read somewhere that most web servers run Linux.
If that is true in general, then is is not surprising
that a larger number of attacks occurred on it since
it is more prevalent.
