[NTLUG:Discuss] Anyone got a new Radeon (with the just released drivers)?

I am in a similar situation with the desire to upgrade my card. The main
issue at hand is that I don't have $200+ to spend on a card. I was hoping
that the fx5600 would be enough, but I am thinking after looking at
benchmarks, and such that it will not be. I am kinda looking at ATI as well.
I have a few ATI cards already but nothing for gaming. Nvidia has always
been my choice. Right now I have a Geforce3 ti500 that has been rocking hard
even on new games. I have a mobility radeon in my laptop, but its just
horrible for games even with 64mb on an AMD XP 2000+ with 512 ram.
I am going to wait and actually see how well my current card can handle
Halflife2. I bougt Savage: Battle for Newerth this weekend, and it plays
superb even at 1600x1200. It is on the silverback engine, and is a very nice
looking game. So it looks promising to stay put for now. :)
