mplayer has no problem playing even the latest windows media formats, but
that's because it can use the latest codec's dll's. It can not however
stream wma's (using the proprietary mms: protocol). There is still hope
that we may able to do that with the Helix project.
the licensing thing... yeah, I think I have a copy of windows 3.0
somewhere...; )
