[NTLUG:Discuss] FYI: Dell PERC SCSI RAID Controller

My memory is terrible but I remember someone asking about the Dell PERC 
raid controllers and I just wanted to let you know that Dell just called 
me about our PowerEdge 1500SC.  It has the 32meg internal PERC RAID 
controller in it  in a RAID 5 configuration.  Well, apparently there is 
a problem with the firmware and the driver for this controller.  They 
are sending me a CD and if you have one you will probably be receiving a 
call from Dell soon. (if not already)

It seems that it can cause disks slow down and/or disks to drop off line 
with possible data loss.
