Doesn't the Microsoft paid slant bother you about that magazine?  I 
subscribed to it for 2 years and dropped it after:  1.  Linux Magazine 
accepted MS ads, AND 2.  Linux Magazine started editorializing how Linux 
had to meet Microsoft's standards or play second OS to Windows, AND 3.  
Linux Magazine started making new product announcements that had nothing 
to do with Linux whatsoever.  (Note the 'AND' is included to mean that I 
dropped Linux Magazine for all 3 reasons....only reason 2 by itself 
would have made me cancel my subscription otherwise, and that didn't 
start happening until the 3rd issue after they started accepting MS ads.).

I have subscribed to Linux Journal for the past 4 years, and just 
renewed for another 2 years.  Definitely an excellent magazine for Linux 
users...including articles on their website that didn't make the print 
magazine.

Just my Opinion.
