There are some proprietary things that you don't get.
Also, they don't exactly make it easy to build.
With that said, I've had better fortune in some cases
with the free CVS vs. the paid product. Transgaming doesn't
give you as much value as something like Crossover does.
Transgaming is also known to continue to charge your credit
card even if you just sign up for a 3-month or 6-month
subscription (you have been warned!).

The copy protection stuff is the proprietary stuff I was
talking about in particular. Many game CDs are copy protected
nowadays. They simply will not load with plain ole wine or
CVS wineX.

There is a list of games on their sight (quite large). If you
don't see it in the list, I would not assume that it will work.
They show an entry for JumpStart Preschool and mention that
once you enter the classroom, click on something and it crashes.
