Actually, they are offering 50% off for current RHN customers, but more
importantly, the Fedora project is to replace what was Red Hat Linux
8/9/etc.  Fedora is completely free, developed with more community
involvement, and lets you get the functionality of up2date without an
RHN account.  (up2date is yum enabled now).  All in all, I would say it
is a decent deal.  As part of the Fedora project, there is a
Fedora-legacy list which will also be picking up package support to
extend the life of RHL 8 and 9 as well.
