Remember, there are no stupid questions.

There are just a lot of inquisitive idiots!  ;-)

Just kidding - it's an easy (and common) mistake to make...  I've been in
situations where I steadily cussed a server up and down before realizing
that I had to tell the daemon to re-read its config.
