For what it is worth, a friend bought the Sony Clie', and it did NOT come with 
the software to sync with M$ Outlook (which may or may not be important to 
you).  They wanted like $60 for the Outlook Conduit software, which comes 
with Palms and Handsprings.

You might check out www.gethightech.com for reconditioned units (used them for 
parts, and they are great people).  Look at www.handspring.com also;  they 
have a Handspring Prism (color screen, 8 meg memory) for $119 (no card slot 
though).

JPilot is the best software for syncing Palm.  Evolution does ok, but does not 
sync the Notes, so I can't use it.  Have never got KPilot working right, but 
it lacks one of the four basic functions also (calandar?).
