Just install yum and add the Fedora base repository to yum.conf and 'yum
upgrade'. Quick and easy (okay, limited to download bandwidth) upgrade to
Fedora Core 1 from RH 9.  You can also download the entire RPM tree to a
local directory and run 'yum-arch .' in that dir. then add it to your
sources as 'file:/path/to/tree' instead if http.  Consider it an update if
it makes you happy.

If not, it is possible fedora-legacy will pick up Red Hat 9 as a supported
release.
