A great idea. I considered the Samsung i500 but they want $600!!!
Can't use the rebates either as they require a "new service plan".

I'm sorry I forgot to mention I do not want a PDA acting like a phone
(aka PCS card or Treo xxx). That's because they are (to me) bulky
and the phone feature ability isn't as good (signal, sound quality).

I have a PDA now but find that 90% of the time just use the calendar.
Mostly because the HWR is so poor (for me). I miss the Newton...

Again, my question is: how can I sync PCS phone calendar data
with a linux computer? I am looking at the Sanyo 4500, 8100,
5300, or 2500. I'm focusing on Sanyo because, according to my
Google searches, the signal strength is much better than Samsung.
No, I don't need a camera in it but most/all come with that silly
adding-bulk toy marketing-must-have.
