[NTLUG:Discuss] Mozilla Password question

With Mozilla 1.5, 1.6, FireBird, etc. when you access a .htpasswd
protected 
resource, you are prompted for your userid, password and have a checkbox
that says 'Use Password Manager to remember these values.'

Is there a setting or addon that I can't find that will let you
automattically
send this info to the web server so you don't have to click OK when you 
see this. if I told it to rembmer it... and it's filled in.... why not
go ahead and
submit it. 

It's just a gripe I've had for a while ( the company Intranet server is
.htpasswd 
protected ) andI have to click on this extra 'ok' box daily when I
access 
the server.
