Perhaps it's time for a trip to Frys to get another power supply? I'm sure
that given enough time and a multimeter, you could track down the exact
cause of the problem, but maybe this is one of those times when it's cheaper
in time and effort just to throw a couple of twenties at the problem...

I've unplugged everything except mobo,cpu,ram (everything being a floppy and
cd-rom)

Both 90w's will boot the big computer.Now I didn't try to play Quake or burn
CD's just power up to the desktop to verify the PS's work
