Considering who it was coming from, I really didn't think his statements 
were all that bad.  Dr. Bombay is not known for being well-reasoned or 
insightful and is negative about pretty much everything.  See his answer 
to the other question in the same article, for example.

Plus, I have to agree with him about the IBM Linux commercials.  I think 
it is great that IBM is trying to push Linux into the mainstream 
consiousness with a positive message but that kid is pretty creepy!  The 
'Peace, Love, and Linux campaing was way better.
