Yes - that guy knows *nothing*. Someone specifically asks him whether
any other OS's are more secure from viruses that Windows and he takes a
whole page to say "No". The truth (of course) is that ANY other OS is
WAY more secure than Windows...so he really couldn't be more wrong.
My favorite quote:
"No matter which operating system you finally wind up with, you absolutely
have to run a virus checker and keep it up to date."

I strongly suspect that's a waste of time.
Perhaps the Star Telegram needs to know that his column is a pile of
doggie-doo-doo ? He claims to be a 'staff writer'.
