Hi Guys,
After a long history of problems with my mail account
I am back on the list. Although I know that this topic
wa officialy closed since it was almost "flaming",I
just could'nt help writing this one bit.
I live in India and work for a S/W co. Most of our biz
comes from US based clients. Off all this hooplah made
about offshore outsourcing I have a single honest
question.
Dont the people go and buy those products from shops
that are good in quality and come at a cheaper price?
Are the companies in US doing anything different? Then
why all this shout and cry?
If the problem is about people losing jobs,What about
those situations where in US based companies which
enter the market in other countries, compete with the
local companies. Since the US companies generally
bring in much better products with better technology
and sell them in loacal markets, these local companies
go bust instantly and all ther workers are rendered
jobless. What about this? Can I make a outcry that
Indian government should not allow any US company to
do business in India?
What do you guys think about this?
