Konqueror has that feature too - Under
Settings/Configure Konqueror there is a 'user agent'
tab that brings up a dialog to choose your user agent
for any particular set of domains.
I think the mozilla team had moral objections to doing
that - but there are non-obvious ways to achieve that goal.
And of course you can always change it for any browser for which
you have source code!
