I have used Libranet 2.7 classic (Debian-based) and Slackware 9.1 on an
old 366MHz Celeron laptop with 128 Megs of memory and a 20 gig HD.  I
had no problems with either of them installing.  The only problem was
they did not detect and setup the built-in winmodem (No surprise there,
really).  Either should work fine and are available for download.  HTH,
