Both.

It's now testing up to 128 Megs and stops.  And I've done nothing to it
other than put the memory in it and fire it back up.

I don't have the computer at my house.  It's at my mother-in-laws.  I'm
trying to remember about the memory...the 128 Meg stick is Corsair
133Mhz if I remember correctly.  I can't remember what brand the 256 Meg
stick is, but I know it's also 133Mhz. I have no idea what brand the
motherboard is, but it has Award Modular BIOS v.4.51PG, which appears to
be a pretty standard bios, from what googling found for me.  I was not
able to find a bios upgrade without paying for it.
