We have been searching for some time for an SMPP/SMS tool on Linux, for some
time, fruitlessly.
What we are looking for is an SMPP (short message peer to peer) version 3.4
development tool (i.e. API) that enables us to attach to an SMSC (short
message service center) and send/receive short SMS's. This tool should be
on the Linux platform written in the C programming language. With all these
conditions it must be able to be integrated in our in house application
(i.e. Mediator) for use as an ESME (SMPP Client).
We have taken a look at http://kannel.org/ but it does not fit our needs
exactly. This email is kind of a last ditch effort to find something to
modify instead of developing it from scratch. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
