  If you have not visited First Saturday, you should.  Inexpensive(like
$10 or $20) 15 inch working VGA monitors are not usually hard to find. 
I see them most months, but I went down to buy one one month and could
not find one.
  And you should consider VNC.  I have 4 machines downstairs I almost
never look at.  I just access them through VNC.  Maybe you don't need a
monitor at all after you set the system up.
