[NTLUG:Discuss] Bounces, SPAM, and Vacation messages

OK, to recap, if you use a vacation message, please make it not respond 
to "Bulk" messages.

I get at least 10 spam messages a day on the list.  I know this is not 
a lot by any means, but if you send a message from a different address 
than what is subscribed, it will end up in the same queue as spam and 
be deleted.  I don't read them.

Last, if you decide you want to try a new anti-spam method X, be sure 
it supports white-lists, and that you have put discuss at ntlug.org in the 
white-list (however your anti-spam solution works).  I have started 
removing people who's mail bounces with any message that says "Click 
here to verify who you are" or "Reply with with password to have your 
mail go through".

This list now generates an extra 20-30 messages a day from these things 
(to the admin address) and I am just letting you know how I am dealing 
with them.  Sorry for any inconveniences.
