[NTLUG:Discuss] Image utility to crop picutures.

Does anyone know of a good graphics application that 
will let me display a .jpg or .gif and crop out part 
of the image? 

I can use GIMP... but it seems like overkill..... it takes
a while to load and has a lot of options.... I really want
something more simple. 

Currently, I use i_view32 ( windows program ) under wine. 
That works fine.... but I'd prefer a X-Windows, Linux app.
