[NTLUG:Discuss] Disk recovery

A hard drive on one of my computers died this morning after a power
surge.  I'd never thought it had anything on it that was very important,
but over time it had accumulated some pretty important files (read: my
kids' files).  I should have backed it up, but that's water under the
bridge now.

Can anyone recommend a local hard drive recovery service?  Cheaper is
better.  The filesystem is ext3.
