I've never been to one. My understanding of the phrase is:
People get together, bringing their computers along, and hook
'em up all into a LAN (Local Area Network) and play network-
based (multi-player) games. I'm sure it's quite popular with
today's college kids, the "Nitindo generation". :-)

You might ask why they simply don't use a laptop. You can get
a lot faster system (and graphics card) in a desktop. Yep, it's
the 160MPH car thing again. It's nice having such a light weight
case, even though I don't take it anywhere. I was after the
large fans and internal HD bays it offers. I didn't know about
the Sonata but I'd probably have bought the Super anyway.
Super is kinda cool looking, except for the whippershapper window
and blue-lit front fan.  [Walks away, after grabbing his cane --
just kidding, I'm not THAT old].
