FYI: My yahoo mail account is 2.0GB in size.
The standard yahoo mail accounts are now 100 MB.
My account is "mailplus" and costs $25 per year and also includes pop3 
server access, [in addition to web based access].
(I've had this account for almost 10 yrs. but just upgraded to plus 
about a year ago, and yahoo upgraded the space limits just a couple 
months ago.)

And don't get me wrong, I'm not a Yahoo zealot or anything, I don't even 
  use yahoo search, I use google, which is clearly the best, IMO.  I'll 
even go a step further; Google is probably the best thing that's 
happened to the internet, period, IMO. I use both google search and 
groups.google.com a lot and am actually almost a google zealot, if 
anything, but I just like yahoo mail. I guess it's kind of like an old 
friend.  I used to use yahoo search, but switched to google 3 or 4 years 
ago, when it matured and evolved into the most powerful search engine on 
the internet. I may still get a gmail account, but I guess yahoo mail is 
serving my needs for now, especially since I have 2 GB of space, BUT, I 
don't know if I'll ever need or use it, I guess it would be handy for 
Linux ISOs or something, ... I dono, just never considered the 
advantages of having extremely large email storage.
