A LOT of Windows users are under the impression that a computer will not 
work without Windows and that Linux (if they'd ever heard of it) is a 
program!
I've had occasions where I've told people I don't use Windows, to which 
they respond with "Then how does your computer work?"

One of the people that reacted this way worked in Fry's in Burbank, CA.
