I am going to take a trip. I've got a Garmins GPS that I'd like to hook
up to my linux laptop. I'd like to be able to

1) view a map on the latop and see 'where' I am...
and
2) view a map on the laptop and see where I've been.. and when
I was there.

does anyone know what software I should use? I've got the
garmin map disk... but I don't want to run them on windows....
Can I use these 'maps' with a linux viewer or can I convert
them or what....

Any info would be appreciated.
