Up here in Grayson Co. w/ CableOne I'm getting download speeds
consistantly better than 2-Mb/sec in the evening and I've got the
"cheapie" service supposedly limited to about 500-Mb/sec for downloads.
Not all cable companies are "ComCrap"! :-) Not all cable modem services
suck canal water!  CableOne has given me consistently good quality
service for coming up on two years now.  And their tech support, when
I've actually needed it, has been fairly knowledgable.

Sorry that y'all down south are having such a terrible time.

P.S. My LinkSys router and cable modem have worked just fine too. :-)
