[NTLUG:Discuss] DVD player

my dvd is /dev/hdd. 
/dev/dvd and /dev/cdrom1 both point to /dev/hdd. 

ogle /dev/dvd
ogle /dev/cdrom1
ogle /dev/hdd
all play the DVD just fine.
