I'm not sure what you are asking, but if you are asking if you can do a
motherboard and cpu "brain swap" with the HD, yes, you can. 

Way back when I upgraded from a 486DX 66 to a Pentium II/333Mhz setup,
all I did was to replace the motherboard and CPU, do the BIOS setups and
boot. Voila! New system with the original software and partions working
just fine. Just make sure that if you have multiple drives that you
install them in exactly the same places.
